Harry Papaeleou is an entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist shaped by years of growth, challenges and transformation.
He was raised in a humble, hardworking Greek family. His father worked the fields as a farmer and his mother cared for the home, and from them he learned the meaning of persistence, respect and integrity. School was never easy for him, and he finished high school with difficulty, yet from a very young age he showed a natural affinity for computers and technology. He was driven by curiosity, problem-solving and an instinctive understanding of systems and how to make things work better.
For two decades, he worked as an employee. One of his first jobs was at KFC, and not long after that he began working as a self-taught computer and network technician in a small company while living in a semi-basement apartment and trying to save every possible amount. There were days when he stayed at the company and slept on the couch to avoid commuting costs. Those early years tested his endurance and shaped his resilience. They taught him the true meaning of stability, dedication and continuous personal growth.
Later, he spent sixteen years in a large organization working again as a computer and network technician, learning everything hands-on and contributing consistently. Yet despite his commitment, development and long-term contribution, his salary remained low and the opportunities for real advancement were limited. He eventually made the decision to leave the company where he had spent the past sixteen years, a decision that would define everything that followed. That moment became the turning point that reshaped his life and opened the path to everything he would build.
Through persistence, consistency and teamwork, he transformed years of experience into opportunity and built POS Point, a profitable, debt-free, multimillion-euro Greek company with strong and consistent cash flow, supported by a growing team of 15 people serving more than 35,000 clients across 15 EU countries. Beyond technology and payments, he is also an active real-estate investor focused on value, diversification and long-term financial independence.
For him, true freedom means living each day with intention and authenticity. Over the years, he has learned the importance of building systems and organizations that can grow without constant oversight, allowing long-term value creation while maintaining control over his time. He believes success is not measured only by numbers. It is measured by the value created, the people uplifted and the opportunities he helped create. Wealth, in his view, can also come from contributing to something greater than oneself by adding real value at the right moment and in the right place.
